His coaching experience includes having served as the head coach for the Duxbury High School and Providence College Sailing Teams while his administrative experience includes having served as the Executive Director of the Sarasota Youth Sailing Program in Sarasota, FL and Sailing Director for both the Edgartown and Beverly Yacht Clubs. Under his watch sailors have won the Sears Trophy, Orange Bowl Regatta, High School Single-handed Nationals, US SAILING Youth Championships and been named Gary Jobson All-Stars and qualified for the USODA South American Championships and ISSA Fleet Racing Nationals. An elected member of the US SAILING Community Sailing Council and the youngest member of US SAILING's National Faculty, Stuart is a US SAILING Level 1 and 2 instructor, a US Powerboating instructor, a Level 1 Instructor Trainer and in 2008 was recognized by the US SAILING as the 2008 "Outstanding Director of a Year Round Program." Stuart attended Roger Williams University graduating in 2004 with a degree in Communications. Matthew Herbster Matthew Herbster received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, from Hobart and William Smith College in May 2003. Matt graduated with Honors from Hobart and William Smith with a Minor in Cognition, Logic and Language. In 2003, Matt was awarded the John S. Kline award for Excellence in Mathematics and Computer Science. While at Hobart and William Smith, Matt spent four years as a member of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Varsity Sailing Team. Matt also is a former member of the US Sailing 470 Team having competed and traveled extensively as part of his 2004 Olympic Campaign. Matt continues to stay involved with junior sailing as a member of the Board of Directors for the Manchester Sailing Association in Manchester, MA. Email Matt!
